• Associate degree required.
• Licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Florida.
• BLS certification required from Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates skill and professional judgment to treat patients across ages and cultures.
• Incorporates growth and development considerations into patient needs assessments.
• Provides age-appropriate therapy and utilizes appropriate resources for different age groups.
• Keeps supervising OT informed of changes in patient condition and treatment response.
• Takes ownership of clinic environment and maintains organized, clean spaces and supplies.
