Job summary

Ernest Health's Midlands Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Elgin, SC, is seeking a full-time COTA to deliver rehabilitative services under the supervision of an occupational therapist.

You will monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and contribute to individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, spinal injuries, and other conditions.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a COTA required by state guidelines.
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification required.
• One year of direct patient care experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of an occupational therapist, provide rehabilitative services to individuals with physical impairments.
• Monitor patient progress and record progress for the supervising therapist.
• Align daily practice with the hospital’s mission and guiding principles.

Qualifications
