Job summary

Ramseur Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Ramseur, NC is seeking a dedicated COTA to join our long-term care team. You will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services under an OTR, ensuring patient progress, correct documentation, and adherence to state guidelines in a SNF setting.

The ideal candidate holds an OT degree recognized by AOTA, an active North Carolina license/registration, and preferably SNF experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a BA or Associates degree in Occupational Therapy recognized by AOTA.
• Holds current license and/or registration in the state (as applicable).
• SNF experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of an OTR and according to state guidelines.
• Assist OT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
• Document patient’s daily participation and progress on progress note with co-signature of the OTR.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, re-certifications and discharges.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings as indicated by Supervisor.
• Complete billing logs and bill patients ethically and accurately for occupational therapy services rendered.

Education
