Job summary

Green Hills Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide patient-centered care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The role emphasizes adherence to goals, timely progress documentation, and collaboration across disciplines.

Experience in long-term or geriatric care is preferred. Candidates should display exceptional patient service skills and professionalism, with reliable attendance and readiness to perform duties

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
  • Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred
  • Well versed with documentation writing
  • Document patient's progress on weekly progress notes in a timely fashion
  • Collaborates with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care
  • Exceptional patient service skills and professionalism
  • Report to work on time and adhere to scheduled hours
  • Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation

Responsibilities

  • Carry out best practice treatments under supervision of the OT
  • Provide treatment adhering to goals developed by the OT
  • Provide feedback to the supervising occupational therapist via documentation or other required methods
  • Document patient progress on weekly progress notes in a timely fashion
  • Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care
  • Demonstrate exceptional patient service and clinical excellence
  • Report to work on time and adhere to scheduled hours
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Rehabilitation
