VHS Home Health Care is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team. Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities are available in locations including Newport News and Hampton.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience as a practicing Occupational Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Current Occupational Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice required.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under supervision.
• Assist with resident evaluations and progress reporting.
• Guide residents through therapeutic and functional activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Modify treatment interventions based on resident progress.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and equipment.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and quality initiatives.
