Job summary

Twin Oaks Health & Rehab in Lansing, Kansas is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will design and implement individualized therapy plans to improve residents' daily living skills and overall quality of life.

You will work with a diverse care team to assess residents, lead therapy sessions, and maintain thorough progress records.

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with valid license.
• Ability to work under supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Experience designing and implementing individualized therapy plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Occupational Therapists in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify residents' strengths, weaknesses, and goals.
• Design and lead occupational therapy sessions to address specific needs and goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress and treatment plans.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care and progress.
