Job summary

Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. This role involves assisting the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans and helping residents regain independence in daily living activities.

The COTA will document sessions, monitor progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Tennessee Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans for residents.
• Provide therapy services to help patients regain independence in daily living activities.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and timely per standards.
• Monitor and report patient progress to the Occupational Therapist.
