Tice Valley Post Acute in Walnut Creek, CA is hiring Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTAs) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. We offer Full-time, Part-time, and PRN opportunities with pay starting at $50-$52 per hour, DOE.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current California COTA license in good standing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
• Help residents improve activities of daily living and functional independence
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary rehabilitation team members
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic strategies
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising OT
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care
