Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital South is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our full-time day team in Missouri. You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to deliver targeted therapies that restore function and support patient recovery in a leading inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed and eligible to practice as a COTA in the state where services are rendered.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate patient progress to the supervising occupational therapist and interdisciplinary team.
• Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in follow-through programs and home exercises.
• Document patient care accurately and in accordance with all regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
• Maintain treatment equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Assist with patient scheduling and post-treatment charges to patient records.
