Job summary

American Advanced Management, Inc. is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist in Mesa, AZ.

The role involves patient assessment, therapy for individuals and groups, home programs, and documentation in accordance with hospital standards. Qualified candidates must complete an accredited OTA program, hold AOTA certification, and maintain state licensure; CPR is required and English communications must be strong.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program, certification by AOTA.
• Must hold a current state license and must maintain license renewal in accordance with the State Board of Medical Examiners or State Board of Occupational Therapy.
• Long term acute care and rehabilitation experience is preferred;
• Maintains current CPR
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess good verbal and written communications skills.
• Basic computer skills with minimal guidance

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of OT, assist with patient assessment and treatment for individuals and groups.
• Deliver home programs and instructions to patients and families; participate in family and team conferences; manage equipment inventory and documentation.
