Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to perform routine OT treatments according to patient plans under supervision of an OT. The role includes documenting progress and instructing patients and caregivers, while supervising rehabilitation technicians.
Responsibilities also involve program development support, potential training for OTA interns, and ensuring safety, personalized care and adherence to Memorial Hermann standards within budget and productivity

Performs routine occupational therapy treatments according to patient treatment plans under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist, especially activities of daily living. Documents findings, progress and instruction to patients and caregivers. Supervises rehabilitation technicians with regard to individual patient care. May assist with program development. May provide training and guidance to students and interns.
Alternate schedule, working every other weekend with Fridays off
Southwest Hospital
Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist assistant or an Occupational Therapist program.
Licenses/Certifications: Current License to practice Occupational Therapy by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners license or eligibility.
Current certification in Basic Life Support.
Other duties as assigned.
