Job summary

Hunter Douglas, a world-leading window coverings manufacturer, seeks a skilled production worker for SunPro mesh assembly. You will operate industrial sewing machines, sew and assemble mesh materials, and prepare components for motorized screens according to specs.

Applicants should have 1–2 years in manufacturing or sewing, with familiarity with hand or power tools. The role is in a plant environment requiring physical effort and teamwork to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, construction or industrial sewing.
• 1–2 years of experience using hand and/or power tools.
• Ability to lift 25 kg (55 lb) alone and 36 kg (80 lb) with a team.
• Comfortable working in a plant/manufacturing environment.
• Capable of working in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines to cut, sew, and assemble mesh materials.
• Prepare mesh components for motorized screen units per specifications.
• Follow digital instructions and production goals using SunPro tablets.
• Inspect finished materials for quality and consistency.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Meet daily production targets and report progress to supervisors.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.

Quién eres

• Capacidad para levantar más de 25 kg (55 lb) de forma independiente y más de 36 kg (80 lb) en equipo.
• Cómodo/a trabajando en un entorno de planta o manufactura.
• Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno sin aire acondicionado.
