Job summary

Liberty Tax is seeking a Costume Waver to promote the Liberty Tax Service name at partner locations and drive local revenue through brand awareness. This seasonal role involves outdoor marketing and direct interaction with business owners.

You will wave, dance and engage with pedestrians in a mascot costume, travel between businesses as needed, and contribute to business-to-business marketing efforts in a friendly, professional manner.

Position Title: Costume Waver

Reports to:Office Supervisor

FLSA Status:Non-Exempt

Position Purpose

To promote the Liberty Tax Service name to increase location revenue through brand awareness

Position Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

• Draw attention to the store location through waving at traffic while dressed in the mascot outfit
• Conducts business to business marketing while in the mascot uniform
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to build rapport with business owners

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Ability to work outside in varied weather conditions
• Ability to wave, dance and stand in the mascot costume for a period up to eight hours
• This position may require travel and driving between businesses for marketing purposes
