Six Flags New England is seeking a dedicated Costume Technician to perform repair and alteration of costumes, operate sewing equipment, and assist in laundering costumes for performances and parades.

You will help construct special costumes, maintain costume integrity to keep characters looking right, and support a high-energy team in a fast-paced theme park environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of clothing construction, alterations, and repair.
• Experience with serger and industrial sewing machines for costume upkeep is preferred.
• Theatrical costume experience is helpful.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently without direct supervision.
• Able to interact professionally with large groups.
• Driver’s license and clean driving record helpful for errands.
• Sense of fun and a collaborative attitude.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to meet physical demands including walking long distances, standing, lifting, and working at heights.
• Proficient in English (reading, speaking, understanding).
• 18 years old or older.

• Perform general repair and alteration of various costumes.
• Operate sewing equipment.
• Assist in laundering of costumes.
• Construct special costumes and specialty show projects as assigned.
• Maintain structural integrity of Licensed Characters to preserve appearance.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and team members.
• Comply with Six Flags New England policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as required and assigned.
