Job summary

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) is hiring a Costume Project Manager to lead complex costume projects from concept through performance. You will coordinate designers, fittings, materials, meetings, and documentation while guiding departmental staff to meet artistic and operational needs.

You’ll manage budgets, track expenses, and collaborate with Wardrobe, Hair, Stage Management, and Rentals. This in-person role requires strong organizational skills and a hands-on approach to production

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 5 years in professional theatre or performing arts.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Translate the Designer’s vision into actionable plans and coordinate materials and documentation.
  • Research, purchase, receive, and return fabrics and show goods with accurate vendor records.
  • Lead and support Costume Department staff, ensuring safety and development conversations.
  • Collaborate across Wardrobe, Hair, Stage Management, Props, Lighting, and Costume Rentals.
  • Track expenses and maintain fiscal confidentiality; attend rehearsals and coordinate material transport.
