Job summary

Skyline Displays of Orange County is seeking a Job Costing Accountant in Eagan, MN to support high-volume manufacturing and trade show services. You will recognize revenue and COGS per GAAP, allocate costs to jobs, and maintain accurate, auditable records.

Responsibilities include monthly close, reviewing job costs, researching variances, and supporting process improvements withcross-functional teams in operations and finance. Requires 1–3 years in accounting, SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years in accounting/finance; job costing or manufacturing experience a plus.
• Working knowledge of GAAP including revenue recognition and deferral accounting concepts; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process revenue recognition for custom booth builds and trade show services.
• Review and allocate costs to jobs; ensure accurate COGS treatment.
• Maintain and reconcile deferred revenue schedules monthly.
• Document month-end close entries with backup for audit and management review.
• Identify variances and collaborate with PMs/operations for root-cause and corrective action.
