Job summary

Innovation Associates, Inc. in Johnson City, NY invites you to join the 10-week Cost Strategy Intern program.

You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting cost accounting, manufacturing finance, and month-end close activities, including EAC/POC costing. You’ll collaborate with Cost Accounting, Manufacturing, and Operations teams, develop Excel-based analyses, and contribute to reporting and process improvements through the internship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in accounting, finance, business, operations, or related field.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with interest in cost accounting and manufacturing finance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily review of cost data responsibility reports to support cost accounting activities.
• Review From/To postings and manufacturing variances to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Support weekly cycle count audits and inventory reconciliations for accuracy.
• Participate in month-end cost close activities and learn EAC/POC costing.
• Collaborate with Cost Accounting, Manufacturing, and Operations teams on reporting and improvements.
