Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Data Center Cost Manager to oversee the financial performance of data center construction, infrastructure, and operations, ensuring projects stay within approved budgets while aligning with schedule and quality goals.

You will partner with Construction, Operations, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, and Vendors to drive cost predictability and financial risk mitigation across the portfolio, influencing cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cost management, project controls, finance, construction, or data center operations.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar project budgets.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, cost forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of project budgeting, contract administration, and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

The Data Center Cost Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial performance of data center construction, infrastructure, and operational programs. This role ensures projects are delivered within approved budgets while maintaining alignment with schedule, quality, capacity, and operational objectives. The Cost Manager serves as a key partner to Construction, Operations, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, and Vendor teams to drive cost predictability, fiscal accountability, and financial risk mitigation across the data center portfolio.
