Location: Austin, TX area preferred

Step into a key leadership role where your expertise in cost management will drive some of the most advanced construction projects in the U.S.—from cleanrooms to high-tech facilities. As Cost Manager, you'll oversee budgeting, forecasting, subcontractor evaluations, and change management across complex scopes of work. What You’ll Do:

• Lead MEP cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting across large-scale projects
• Review subcontractor bids, change orders, and payment apps
• Implement and manage project cost control systems
• Conduct risk-based cost analyses and align cost/schedule impacts
• Oversee change orders from evaluation through implementation
• Support procurement strategy and contract execution
• Advise leadership on design changes and cost implications
• Mentor junior staff and produce high-level cost reporting

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s in mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
• 8+ years in MEP cost control pr project controls on large construction projects
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and process utilities
• Skilled in cost control software (CostX, Sage, Prism, Excel, ERP)
• Experience with Lump Sum, GMP, and Cost-Plus contract models
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills

Bonus Points For:

• Semiconductor, data center, or pharma/cleanroom project experience
• Familiarity with BIM/VDC workflows
• Certifications (MRICS, CCP, PMP)
