Job summary

A well-established manufacturing company in Milwaukee is seeking a Cost Estimator to develop accurate part and tooling quotes for metal projects. The ideal candidate should have quoting experience in stamping and/or fabrication, or relevant manufacturing experience with skills in CAD software. Qualifications

• 2+ years of quoting experience in stamping and/or fabrication or 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• GD&T knowledge preferred.
• Familiarity with material types and properties.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate manufacturing steps, bills of material, and labor estimates using quoting software.
• Collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality to define quote details.
• Participate in feasibility reviews and incorporate findings into quote packages.

Skills

Quoting experience in stamping and/or fabrication

Ability to read blueprints

Working knowledge of 3D CAD software

Strong computer skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Tools

SolidWorks

Paperless Parts or similar quoting software
