Quantech is seeking energetic professionals with expertise in cost, statistical, economic, and/or quantitative analysis to support Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs within the United States Air Force (USAF).
As a Cost Estimator Associate, this hybrid remote position will support the Electronic Systems Directorate at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH. The Electronic Systems Directorate is part of the Information Dominance Systems Center and will consolidate focus on Information Dominance capabilities, such as: Command, Control, Communications (C3I); Battle Management; Cyber; Electronic Warfare; Information Systems; and Enterprise Digital Infrastructure. This is an opportunity to provide cost, schedule, and risk analysis support to the successful development of cutting-edge modern IT-centric Weapon Systems.
Responsibilities include:
BA/BS in relevant functional field.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD.
Minimum years of functional experience in DoD - 5 years.
Cost analysis experience or relevant experience in quantitative analysis positions (economic analysis, analytics, statistics, regression).
Proficient in analyzing datasets and developing statistical models, but also able to tackle problems by thinking outside of the box.
Technical fast learner with the ability to communicate with multiple functional teams to gather (programmatic/technical) data and translate it into cost impacts for the government.
Experienced problem solver, comfortable working in ambiguous environments with the ability to lead financial focused conversations with cross-functional teams.
Approachable team player with the skillset to successfully work on a variety of projects and take direction from multiple sources at once.
Experience/coursework using data science, machine learning, visualization, and business intelligence tools a plus.
Hybrid remote- 2 days onsite and 3 days telework.
