American Transmission Co. is seeking an Estimating and Cost Engineering Intern in Wisconsin to support project execution teams by tracking, analyzing, and reporting on cost and performance metrics for capital projects.

The role offers hands-on experience with cost estimates, earned value tools, and project health indicators. You will work with the team to update estimating tools, prepare reports on changes, and contribute to process improvements while gaining exposure to the electric utility

Qualifications

• Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.
• Pursuing a degree in a relevant field (Business, Finance, CM, SC, Eng).
• Curiosity about the electric utility industry and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Support development of project cost estimates for capital infrastructure.
• Assist with estimating tool updates and implementation.
• Assist with building and maintaining earned value management tools.
• Track key indicators of project health and performance.
• Help analyze reports on field change requests, scope, and cost metrics.
• Contribute to cost engineering process improvements.
