Job summary

Outokumpu Oyj is seeking a temporary Cost Engineer to join our Finance team for up to six months at our Calvert, AL location with a hybrid work arrangement.

The role acts as plant controller and financial advisor, responsible for planning, analyzing, and reporting production costs. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in cost accounting/planning, manufacturing experience, and strong analytic skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
• BS preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in the field preferred.
• Provide support for preparation of capital investment.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Manufacturing experience is required; metals industry preferred.
• 5-10 years of previous experience in cost accounting/planning and analysis.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system.
• Strong experience in use and applications of Microsoft Office, mainly PowerPoint & Excel.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering or similar discipline.
