Bechtel seeks a Cost Engineer in Cheyenne, WY to perform routine cost estimating, analysis, and control activities, supporting standards and the trend program. You will assist with budgeting, quantity takeoffs, project codes, and unit rates to keep projects on budget and on schedule.

The role may start in Reston, Houston, or Cheyenne and progresses to a long-term assignment in Cheyenne; relocation is available.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 2–5 years of relevant experience or 6–9 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge in capital cost and services estimating.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs, statistical analysis, and financial reports.

Responsabilités

• Performs routine cost estimating, analysis, and control activities as directed.
• Supports cost monitoring and control standards, techniques, systems, and reports.
• Assists with budget allocation and cost reporting for construction disciplines.
• Supports preparation of cost data for proposals or contracts.
• Assists in development of quantity takeoffs for a discipline or specialty.
• Assists in developing project codes of accounts and revisions.
• Supports the project trend program and unit-rate development for quantity takeoffs.
