What you'll work on:

As a member of the Program Management team you'll support airline facility development projects and will work on program management activities at various terminals at the airport keeping the projects on budget.

You'll play a critical role assisting with accounting services, detailed financial analysis, and ad hoc reporting functions for a variety of our aviation clients. You need a strong command of Microsoft Excel, the ability to multi-task and gather data from various sources to understand, process, and assemble the information into meaningful analysis. Travel to other project locations on the East Coast happens on a frequent basis.

You'll operate with significant independence and minimal supervision and have plenty of exposure to senior management to review progress and address issues. You can expect to work in office settings, on construction sites, and throughout bustling terminals. Experience working on capital improvement projects (construction) is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the integrity of financial data; record transactions and maintain information in different financial management systems and statistical software applications
  • Disseminating executive-level summaries, charts, reports, and other data as required
  • Working with senior management and project teams on financial models, cash flow forecasts, and ad hoc analytical projects
  • Partnering with project managers to ensure proper management of contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and related invoices
  • Researching and analyzing various comprehensive financial information sources
  • Managing the project invoice audit process, reviewing related project invoices, and making recommendations for payment processing
  • Providing analytical support and development of documents for specific aviation programs with respect to budget formulation, execution, tracking, reconciliation, and reporting
  • Creating and maintaining project control system databases ensuring data integrity for compiling various reports

Requirements:

  • Spent 3-7 years with either a construction firm or commercial airport or airline
  • Mastered Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint, Adobe Design and Publisher
  • Developed strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Achieved fame for your ability to multitask, meet deadlines, produce project deliverables
  • Become a virtuoso at building and sustaining relationships with all stakeholders
  • Polished your communication skills, verbal and written

Education:

BA/BS Finance, Business, or Project Management
