Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cost Analyst to apply financial, analytical, and statistical skills across DoD acquisition processes. You will develop cost estimates, perform EVM-based analyses, and deliver data-driven insights to support program decisions.
The role requires experience with cost estimation, DoD documentation, and strong MS Office proficiency, plus a Top Secret clearance and a Bachelor’s degree.
Do you want to use your financial, analytical, and statistical skills to help our clients get the most out of their funding to protect our national security? As a cost analyst, you’ll review complex financial and cost data, build cost analysis models, perform cost‑benefit and cost‑savings analyses, and utilize earned value management (EVM) principles throughout the DoD acquisition process, and design leadership presentations and dashboards. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on our country’s defense acquisition and contracts process. As a cost analyst, you’ll work as part of a cross‑functional integrated program management team with clients to translate program requirements into cost estimates. You’ll use your knowledge and skills to gather relevant data, document assumptions, and develop Program Office Estimates and Independent Government Cost Estimates. You’ll help introduce and recommend new ideas and solutions to clients that deliver visible insights with tangible results while being part of a supportive team that always helps you and roots you on. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
