Job summary

As a cost analyst, you’ll review complex financial and cost data, build cost analysis models, perform cost‑benefit and cost‑savings analyses, and utilize earned value management (EVM) principles throughout the DoD acquisition process, and design leadership presentations and dashboards. You Have

• Experience with performing detailed cost or financial estimation, analysis, or forecasting
• Experience with DoD cost analysis documentation, including Earned Value Management (EVM) and Schedule Analysis, and Cost Analysis Requirement Descriptions (CARDs)
• Experience collecting and analyzing cost and technical data to develop functional cost models
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
• Knowledge of cost analysis and estimating techniques and methodologies within the DoD
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have

• Experience developing and evaluating metrics and data trends across a program lifecycle
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFAR)
• International Cost Estimating and Analysis Association certification
• Defense Acquisition University Business – Cost Estimating or PMP certification
• Certified Cost Estimator Analyst (CCEA) or Professional Cost Estimator Analyst (PCEA)

Compensation

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
