Job summary

PMA is seeking a Cost Analyst to support cost management and project controls across engineering and construction projects. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication of financial insights.

The Cost Analyst will monitor budgets, review change orders, perform variance analyses, and prepare cost reports for stakeholders while supporting cost management systems. This is an entry into project controls and project management within PMA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 0+ years of experience in some combination of cost control or financial data analysis.
• Experience with MS Word and PowerPoint preferred.
• Experience with databases and reporting preferred.
• Equivalent education, experience, and training considered in lieu of stated minimum qualifications.

PMA is currently seeking a Cost Analyst for an exclusive assignment to work on a portfolio of high-profile utility projects. Our Cost Analyst position is an excellent entrée into project controls and project management.

The Cost Analyst supports cost management and project controls activities across engineering and construction projects. This role works with cross-functional teams to analyze costs, prepare reports, support budgeting and forecasting, and identify opportunities to improve project cost performance. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial insights effectively.
