Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing is seeking a Cost Accountant to support operations across multiple product lines. You will work closely with plant operations, finance, and senior management to deliver accurate costing and strategic insights.

The role emphasizes cost analysis, profitability, and collaboration with sales for pricing and margin optimization. Regular plant visits at two facilities will be required to provide actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of cost accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related financial tools.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard and actual product costs across multiple product lines, analyzing materials, labor, and overhead to ensure accurate costing.
• Perform cost variance and profitability analysis, identify key cost drivers, and support pricing decisions based on cost structures.
• Partner with sales teams as the primary customer-facing contact for costing, pricing, and margin support, while participating in weekly pricing strategy reviews.
• Collaborate with production and plant management across two facilities through regular plant visits, providing cost analysis, reporting, and recommendations based on manufacturing operations.

The Cost Accountant will supporting the company's operations. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with plant operations, finance, and senior management while gaining hands-on experience across multiple areas of the business.

Job Requirements
