Job summary

TG Missouri Corporation, Perryville, MO, is seeking a junior cost analyst to support rate development and cost analyses. You will learn rate development fundamentals, assist in calculating rates, and participate in month-end close activities under mentorship.

You will work with manufacturing, operations, and finance teams, develop data analysis skills, contribute to standardized reports, and grow toward senior roles as you gain ERP and financial tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 1–3 years accounting/finance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Learn cost rate development fundamentals with mentorship from senior team members.
• Assist in preparing rate calculations, supporting schedules, and variance analysis.
• Gain exposure to month-end close processes by supporting reconciliations, journal entries, and management reporting.
• Work with cross-functional partners in manufacturing, operations, and finance to understand cost drivers.
• Develop data analysis skills by validating inputs, reviewing trends, and identifying data quality issues.
• Contribute to standardized reporting, templates, and documentation while learning internal control and audit requirements.
• Participate in kaizen initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency within cost accounting processes.
• Build proficiency in ERP systems and financial tools used to support cost accounting and rate analysis.
• Receive coaching to progressively take on more complex responsibilities and advance toward senior-level roles.
• Perform additional duties as assigned
