Position Summary:

The Cost Accountant II is responsible for capturing, analyzing, and reporting cost information to support accurate financial reporting and informed business decisions. This role evaluates costs associated with products, product lines, projects, and departments; analyzes actual results against historical and projected costs; and identifies and reports key variances. The Cost Accountant II also provides cost-related analysis to business partners and may support inventory cycle count activities. Working with general supervision, this position uses advanced accounting knowledge, sound judgment, and prior experience to resolve day-time issues, determine appropriate courses of action, and collaborate effectively with departmental leaders and cross-functional partners.
