Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an entry-level Cost Accountant in Wisconsin to gain broad exposure across accounting functions through cross-functional collaboration. The role analyzes materials, labor, and other expenses to determine production costs and related performance metrics, while supporting financial reporting.

You will capture and classify cost data by product lines, projects, or departments, compare actuals to projections, and assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; attitude and experience considered.
• 0-3 years of business experience.
• Basic accounting knowledge required.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and experience working with ERP and/or MRP systems.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize; handle multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with and influence stakeholders in operational and nonoperational groups.
