Paul Mitchell The School Sacramento is seeking a licensed cosmetology professional to join as a Cosmetology Instructor in Sacramento, CA. This role offers an hourly wage and a full-time schedule with flexibility in days and times.

The instructor will lead technical class sessions and hands-on demonstrations, following our curriculum to prepare students for certification. You will monitor progress and provide 1:1 feedback to help students reach higher skill levels.

Qualifications

• California cosmetology license.
• California instructor license or willingness to obtain.
• Professional salon experience with verifiable references.
• Passion for the industry and mentoring others.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Your Day-to-Day as our Cosmetology Instructor:

Our mission at Paul Mitchell Schools is to arm future professionals with the tools they need to master the beauty industry and create successful careers in their chosen specialties. That’s where you’ll come in! The Cosmetology Instructor leads technical class sessions and hands‑on demonstrations to help students master cutting and styling techniques. You’ll follow our curriculum to help prepare the future professionals for certification, monitoring their performance and providing 1:1 feedback to help them overcome obstacles and reach new skill levels.

Ideal Candidate:

• California cosmetology license
• California instructor license or willingness to obtain
• Professional salon experience with verifiable references
• Passion for the industry and mentoring others
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
