You will teach beauty industry skills with a strong emphasis on practical demonstrations and hands‑on training, ensuring students meet state licensing requirements and prepare for professional careers.

Applications are being accepted for the position of Cosmetology Teacher for our Power Rd Campus (6625 Power Rd, Mesa AZ 85212).

Position Summary

A cosmetology instructor teaches a wide range of beauty industry skills while focusing heavily on practical demonstrations and hands‑on training while ensuring students meet state licensing requirements and are prepared for professional careers in the beauty field. Other responsibilities include developing lesson plans, evaluating student progress, administering exams and ensuring a safe learning environment. Must stay updated with license requirements, industry trends and beauty techniques.

Full Time Exempt, 10 Month Calendar

Salary

$51,917.28 - $84,636.00 Placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, industry related experience, teaching experience, and certification.

Licensing / Certification And Other Requirements

• Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Valid Arizona Board of Cosmetology Instructor's License.

Preferred Experience

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology or closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Previous teaching experience at the high school or college level.
• Experience using Canvas, Focus, Google Classroom, and ExamSoft or similar learning management systems.
• Active involvement in industry associations or professional organizations.
