BYU’s on-campus salon is seeking a Cosmetologist to deliver hair, makeup and waxing services to clients in a friendly, fast-paced environment. This part-time position (28 hours/week) emphasizes client care, education, and a safe, clean workspace.

You will offer color, styling, manicures/pedicures, gel polish, and product recommendations. Applicants should hold a Utah Cosmetology/Barber license, excel in customer service, and stay current with beauty trends.

Formación

• Strong public relations and customer service skills required.

• Knowledge of current beauty trends and techniques a must.

Responsabilidades

• Perform haircuts, color, highlights, styling, and other hair services to meet clients’ needs
• Provide makeup services and basic manicure/pedicure treatments
• Apply gel polish and provide waxing services as needed
• Educate clients on care of hair, skin and nails, and recommend salon products
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times
• Foster positive relationships with clients and deliver excellent customer service
