Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Adhere to all regulatory guidelines.
• Provide clients with information about styles and colors based on texture and complexion.
• Shampoo, cut, style, color, curl, or straighten hair.
• Shave beards and perform facials.
• Maintain knowledge about latest styles and trends.
• Perform manicures and apply nail polish and designs.
• Schedule and cancel appointments and process client payments.
• Use clippers, scissors, curling and straightening devices to create hairstyles.
• Create permanent waves, highlights, and other features.
• Sell wigs/hairpieces and provide fittings.
• Provide skin treatments and head/neck massages.
• Trim eyebrows and lashes, remove facial hair as needed.
• Apply cosmetics and teach makeup techniques.
• Provide fingernail and toenail treatments and maintenance.
• Maintain and clean equipment and keep work areas sterile.
• Make product recommendations and assist with cosmetics purchases.
• Perform clerical duties as needed and support team tasks.
