Job summary

24 Seven Talent is seeking a detail-oriented R&D Lab Technician to support formulation development, prototype preparation, product testing, and lab operations in the skincare field. This freelance role collaborates with R&D personnel to ensure accurate testing, organized documentation, safe practices, and timely execution of development activities.

Responsibilities include preparing batches, supporting stability testing, maintaining records, and assisting with equipment and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in chemistry, biology, formulation science, or a related scientific discipline.
• Two or more years of hands-on laboratory experience, preferably in cosmetics or personal care.
• Experience preparing batches, handling raw materials, and supporting product development testing.
• Knowledge of formulation stability, laboratory documentation, and basic data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory batches for prototypes, sample evaluations, and reformulation projects.
• Support stability testing programs and help prepare stability reports.
• Maintain accurate lab records, batch docs, test results, and sample tracking.
• Clean, maintain and organize laboratory instruments and glassware.
• Assist with routine equipment checks, calibration coordination, and maintenance.
• Manage inventories of raw materials, consumables, packaging components, and lab supplies.
• Prepare product samples for internal review and cross-functional evaluation.
• Interpret basic observations, stability results, and formulation data.
