Job summary

Bloomingdale’s in Hackensack, NJ is seeking a Cosmetics Beauty Advisor to provide exceptional service, build client relationships, and present makeup and skincare knowledge both in-store and online. You will create a welcoming, informative shopping experience and support product education.

You will perform make-up applications, skin care consultations, and maintain engaging merchandise presentation with flexible retail hours. A passion for beauty is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous selling experience is required, preferably in cosmetics.
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

• Create an in-store easy, seamless and fun experience allowing you to build and cultivate customer relationships
• Drive sales with in-store and online clients by embracing and being proficient with technology
