Job Overview The Bloomingdale’s Cosmetics Beauty Sales Colleague’s are experts capable of providing excellent service and selling totality of our assortment both in store and on-line. A Beauty Sales Colleague’s primary focus is to build and maintain client relationships wherever they are shopping by offering outstanding service and product knowledge, while maintaining compelling merchandise presentation. The Beauty Sales Colleague provides make-up application lessons, skin care consultations and treatments, offering expert and up-to-the-minutes trend advice. Whether in-store or online, Beauty Sales Colleagues deliver the Bloomingdale’s Customer Experience Framework through the art of conversation, always being welcoming, engaging and inquisitive, and creating that human connection that our customers are seeking when shopping with us. Beauty Sales Colleagues are responsible for actively circulating the sales floor across multiple departments, determining the customer's needs, sharing the benefits of our Loyalty programs and supporting the shopping experience from start to finish and/or handoff at the Front Desk. The Beauty Sales Colleague must also deliver operational excellence by leveraging our stores fulfillment system, merchandise to sell standards, floor and fitting room upkeep as needed.
