Job summary

Bloomingdale's is seeking a Beauty Advisor for the Cosmetics department to deliver expert service, build client relationships, and drive sales both in-store and online. You will provide makeup application lessons, skincare consultations, and trend advice while maintaining attractive product presentation.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and prior cosmetics sales experience; flexibility for retail hours is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous selling experience is required, preferably in cosmetics.
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays

The Bloomingdale's Cosmetic Beauty Advisors are experts capable of providing excellent service and selling totality of our assortment both in store and on-line. A Beauty Advisor's primary focus is to build and maintain client relationships by offering outstanding service and product knowledge, while maintaining compelling merchandise presentation. The Beauty Advisor provides make-up application lessons, skin care consultations and treatments; offering expert and up-to-the-minutes trend advice. The Beauty Advisor is welcoming, friendly, and engaged; keeping excitement alive on the sales floor and always putting the needs of the customer first.

* Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs
