Job summary

Von Maur is seeking a Cosmetic Sales Associate to represent our brand and enhance the customer experience in America’s Leading Department Store. You will greet customers, demonstrate cosmetic techniques, manage POS transactions, and help customers select products while maintaining an appealing department and contributing to sales goals.

This role requires day, evening, and weekend availability to support peak shopping times.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Ability to greet customers and build relationships.
• Proficiency with POS transactions and basic account handling.
• Knowledge of cosmetics and product lines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer experience – greet customers sincerely and thank every customer.
• Develop relationships to grow the business.
• Achieve individual sales and account goals.
• Demonstrate cosmetic techniques and apply products during consultations.
• Ring POS transactions and manage key account information.
• Highlight product knowledge and store services to enhance the customer experience.
• Keep the department visually appealing and tidy.
• Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
