You will focus on employee engagement, onboarding, visual standards, inventory control and community engagement while adapting to seasonal priorities and promotions.

Qualifications

• Progressive retail leadership experience and proven skills in supervising, coaching and training.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in achieving daily/weekly/monthly sales goals and financial plan with focus on engagement.
• Lead team in a collaborative selling environment and resolve customer concerns positively.
• Open/close the store as a service leader and drive KPI performance.
• Interview, hire, train and retain store staff; onboard new hires on Beyond Yoga values.
• Execute store visual presentation per corporate direction and merchandise changes as needed.
• Ensure accurate receiving/sending and inventory processes; handle price changes and transfers.
• Prevent losses by training staff on customer service and policies.
• Coach staff and foster development; address minor employee relations issues.
• Build relationships with community and collaborate with Home Office partners.

For more information, go to beyondyoga.com**About the Job*** You will be accountable for operational excellence in execution of daily store procedures, payroll management, cash handling and inventory control* You will support the Store Manager in leading the team in achieving daily/weekly/monthly sales goals and financial plan with a primary focus on employee engagement and a collaborative selling environment* Accountable to store manager for driving process adoption, opening and closing the store as a visible service leader and supporting resolution of customer concerns with a positive outcome* Assess and strategize how to drive performance goals (Conversion, Units Per Transaction, Sales Per Hour and other measurable KPI’s)* Assist in the interviewing, hiring, training and retention of store team* Support the onboarding process for new hires educating on Beyond Yoga core values, product knowledge, selling culture, and other employee responsibilities* Execute flawless store visual presentation by following corporate visual direction and recommending merchandising adaptations where needed* Ensure sound product inventory management through accurate receiving and sending processes, aides in the completion of all required business directives (ex. price changes/retickets, RTVs, markdowns, transfers);* Prevent losses by educating associates on customer service and ensuring company policies are being followed.* Coach and develop staff to increase their knowledge and skill sets, providing opportunities for continued development and growth within the organization.* Manage minor employee relations issues including performance management.* Hold associates accountable for following Beyond Yoga and LS&Co policies and procedures.* Build relationships and foster a positive, diverse, and inclusive work environment* Collaborate with store team and Home Office partners on building connections with the local community by way of events, drive brand awareness and engagement* Be a brand ambassador that embodies and can cultivate the company’s core values**About You*** Enjoy being busy and juggling multiple tasks, accomplishing multiple tasks in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment* You are a collaborative role model exhibiting behaviors aligned with company culture of inclusion and belonging.* Is self-starter with a growth mindset, enjoys learning new tools and adaptable to new initiatives* Progressive retail leadership experience and proven skills in supervising, coaching and training* Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening, weekend and holiday shifts* Ability to perform all essential job functions and able to lift up to 40 pounds.
