Job summary

Complete Design & Packaging, Llc is seeking a motivated Corrugator Operator in Concord, NC to support production. You will prepare machines for runs, manage changeovers, and ensure accurate order records while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of experience in a corrugated related role.
• Knowledge of corrugator machinery.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Able to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, around machinery and forklift traffic.
• Excellent attendance record required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills; able to interact with management and staff.
• Strong organizational skills; handle multiple details, deadlines and requests.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; fast-paced with a sense of urgency to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the production crew with a main focus on preparing the machine for the production run, according to the customer order.
• Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties as detailed in equipment specifications.
• Contribute to the continued operation of the corrugator and achieving daily production goals.
• Operate corrugator stacker and strapper in a safe and competent manner.
• Follow all company safety rules and lock-out procedures.
• Maintain a high level of quality and productivity; count accuracy of material and unit appearance.
• Check length, width and scoring measurements at every order change.
• Continuously check quality of board (warp, bond, liner dents, scratches, etch).
• Help tag stacks and push sheets for storage when time allows.
• Make caliper checks from operator, middle and drives sides, and length check from top and bottom.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors.
