Job summary

Kampack Ga Inc is seeking an experienced Corrugator Operator to run the single-facer, assist in wet-end and dry-end operations, and support setup, cleanup and process improvements. You will monitor quality, perform roll handling, splices and keep work areas clean and compliant with safety policies.

The role requires prior corrugated industry experience and a high school diploma or GED, with familiarity in maintenance requests and training of others. This is a full-time position based in Georgia.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
• 6 months experience on the dry end of the corrugator and 6 months as a Doublebacker Operator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check wet end line-ups to verify correct roll stock is received and used.
• Put rolls of paper in mill roll stands ensuring proper size and grade; make splices and changes as needed.
• Trim only the necessary amount of paper from rolls for splices and remove roll stock when necessary.
• Mark size, grade, diameter and footage on rolls; place core plugs in butt rolls.
• Continuously monitor the board during runs and make adjustments for quality.
• Turn in maintenance work orders for needed repairs.
• Clean starch pan, glue roll and singlefacer area after changing flutes and weekly.
• Take paper off cores of stub rolls.
• Assist in wet end training of Doublebacker and dry end personnel.
• Comply with all company policies and maintain good housekeeping.

We are committed to delivering high-quality packaging solutions while fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Corrugator operator who will be Responsible for all activities associated with running the single-facer and assisting in wet-end and dry-end operations, including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations.Key Responsibilities:Check wet end line-ups to verify correct roll stock is received and used.Put rolls of paper in mill roll stands ensuring proper size and grade of paper to be run and make splices and paper changes as necessary.Trim only the necessary amount of paper from the rolls when preparing for splices.Remove roll stock from the machine when necessary and mark the proper size, grade, diameter and lineal footage on the roll and place core plugs in each end of the butt rolls.Continuously monitor the board during runs to ensure quality and make adjustments as necessary.Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.Clean starch pan, glue roll and singlefacer area after changing flutes and at the end of the production week.Take all paper off of cores of stub rolls.Assist in the wet end training of the Doublebacker and dry end personnel.Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.Additional duties may be assigned by management.Requirements:High school diploma or GED.Prior work experience in the corrugated industry.6 months experience on the dry end of the corrugator.6 months experience as a Doublebacker Operator.Other Skills and Abilities:Ability to read and required to follow instructions on factory masters.Good performance/work history
