Pratt Industries in Conyers, GA is seeking a Double Backer Machine Operator for 2nd or 3rd shift on a full-time basis. You will run and optimize the double-backer within a high-speed corrugator line, ensuring precision from setup to final product while supporting overall production goals.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong math and mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read a tape measure. Experience with manufacturing equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and setup the double-backer for each run with precise alignment.
• Monitor tension, alignment, adhesion, and warp to maintain quality.
• Manage paper rolls, sizing, and splices to optimize material usage.
• Run the machine at peak capacity while coordinating with the corrugator flow.
• Complete production, quality, and safety reports; assist in training staff.
