Job summary

Union Depot is seeking a reliable Corrugate Tech to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in building facilities. The role includes towing and emptying trash and cardboard carts, operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and supporting general janitorial duties as needed.

Pay is $18.50 per hour. A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning with limited experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial lift and/or tugger to assist in loading or moving materials for yardage
• Bale cardboard, run a trash compactor, and operate a tow tractor in order to keep production running smoothly
• Follow assigned work schedules, route cards as directed. Report any barriers.
• Move cabinets, furniture, boxes, crates, and equipment to clean areas manually or with hand trucks.
• Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.
• Gather and dispose of trash/recyclables.
• Wipe down furniture, appliances, and equipment.
• Follow proper procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage to surfaces and fixtures.
• Notify management of the need for repairs or additions to building systems.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set

The Corrugate Tech is in charge of towing and emptying trash and cardboard carts as they fill throughout the shift. This role also involves operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and supporting general janitorial duties as needed.

Pay: $18.50 PER HR

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on the applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location,and alignment with market data.
