Job summary

Plains All American Pipeline is seeking a Corrosion Technician to support safe, reliable operation of midstream energy assets. You will monitor and maintain corrosion control systems, including cathodic protection, coatings, and internal corrosion mitigation.

You will collaborate with operations and integrity teams, support maintenance and repair projects, and contribute to safety culture and environmental stewardship while developing your technical skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with cathodic protection testing and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of pipeline corrosion control principles.
• Familiarity with inspection and evaluation of coatings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain pipeline corrosion control systems
• Perform field surveys, testing, and data collection on cathodic protection systems
• Inspect and evaluate pipeline coatings and internal corrosion conditions
• Troubleshoot and resolve corrosion and CP system issues
• Document findings, prepare reports, and maintain regulatory records
