Job summary

Dependency Advocacy Center in California seeks a Corridor Managing Attorney for its integrated family defense program. You will supervise an attorney, two social workers, and three mentor parents, coordinating services to support clients with open dependency cases or risk of entry into the child welfare system.

Qualifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar is required.
• Experience advocating for marginalized communities across housing, and child welfare.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to lead an interdisciplinary team.
• Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Corridor interdisciplinary team and supervise staff attorney.
• Staff open and prevention cases and coordinate with DFCS and Adult Probation.
• Develop Know Your Rights materials and coordinate outreach.
• Oversee data collection, budget, and program protocols.
• Manage a limited client caseload when required.
