Job summary

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience as a Stores Clerk.
• AND possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
• Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university may substitute on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine storekeeping duties in a warehouse, canteen, commissary, or storeroom; supervises staff and offenders on loading/unloading/storage/stock distribution.
• Receives and unpacks inventory; inspects quality/quantity; labels and stores items; operates cash register and prices items.
• Fills requisitions; prepares items for delivery; orders inventory to replenish stock; maintains records of inventory received and issued.
• Takes physical inventories; maintains clean storerooms; follows supervision; performs related duties as assigned.
• This position requires contact with offenders.
