Job summary

Qualifications

• There is no substitution of education for specialized experience for this position.
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level.
• Experience in Control Center, Front/Rear Gate, and Visiting Room.
• Experience training and guiding lower-graded officers.
• Experience knowledge of BOP regulations and policies.
• Experience initiating/participating in searching of inmates, inmate housing units and inmate working area to prevent introduction of contraband.
