Job summary

Travis County Sheriff's Office seeks a Corrections Specialist (Central Booking, TCCC Records and Classification) to coordinate inmate incarceration, review court documents, assess jail behavior and assign housing.

This role requires willingness to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays; handles bonds, fines, jail records; interacts with law enforcement and performs extensive duties across intake, assessment, and reporting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. is required.
• Office/clerical experience is preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship and specified security clearances may apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inmate records and update computer systems.
• Process bonds, fines, and cash releases.
• Review criminal histories and conduct PREA screening.
